why are we here?

Like many great  journeys this one began with a simple question. Why? 

Why are scissors so damn expensive? Well after 16 years and over 10,000 haircuts later, I have the answer. They’re not...anymore.

Our mission at TANZŌ HASAMI is simple. We want to deliver Premium Scissors without the Premium price tag. Gone are the days when your scissors and your rent have something in common. Our scissors are designed and tested  by haircutters for haircutters. They have everything you need and nothing you don’t. They’re hand forged out of premium steel, sharp, and balanced.
